IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CLASSES - BASIC CLASS KIT (BCK): All Classes - Please bring a basic class kit "BCK" consisting of:
- detail scissors,
- paper trimmer,
- black or brown pen,
- pencil
- foam adhesive (e.g, pop dots, dimensionals),
- liquid adhesive,
- double sided tape adhesive.
Your class materials are prepared by your instructor 3 days prior. All cancellations received within 3 days of class time will receive a class kit in lieu of fee refunds. Thank you for understanding.

This month we will be learning the masked sugar technique and the how to use your Stickles in a whole new way. Don't forget your BCK! (see top of this page)
 
You can participate one month at a time, so there is no long-term commitment but prepayment is required a week in advance to reserve a spot. NOW OPEN TO 12 SEATS!
PRIOR TO SWAP DAY: You make 12 identical cards in your own style at home to bring and trade with fellow swap club participants and one to be displayed at the store. (Make 13 if you want to keep one of your own).
DURING THE CLASS: Deedee will teach a fun technique and you will make 2 cards using that technique. For the last ˝ hour of the class time, one by one each class participant will share with the other classmates the card that they made at home to swap. By the end of class you will have 11 cards pre-made by fellow swappers and two cards that you made using the new technique.

Come meet Erica and make a lovely scrapbook layout using Mr. Huey's color mists, Dynamics stencils, and Teresa Collins Everyday Moments paper collection. You will learn how to incorporate basic masking techniques with color mists into your scrapbooking. You will complete one scrapbook page and be giving directions to make a companion page. Don't forget your BCK! (see top of this page). Optional supplies: Colorbox chalk inks in Blue Iris and Yellow Citrus, a 4 x 6 photo, emory board or sanding block.

Grunge Scrapbooking 101: $13

Have you always wanted to know how to do that "grunge" thing that Tim Holtz and others do? Learn how to distress papers and give that beautiful, time-worn feeling to your pages. Learn the anatomy of a layout, layer techniques, distressing, glitzing, embossing, and die cutting. You will construct a timeless 12 x 12 layout. Bring your BCK and a 4x6 photo and chestnut roan Colorbox chalk ink (both available for purchase at the Hen House). Class is limited to 10.

Join Shay for a jam-packed afternoon of card making. You will be making 8 "all occasion" cards. Techniques include learning how make envelopes for those unique-sized cards and a cute card box to hold your cards and envelopes.
This a great gift to give to a soon-to-be-bride, teacher, new mom, picnic hostess and more!
There is some fussy cutting so bring a good pair of scissors.

Have you ever wondered what colors work well together? Sandy has put together a class using Prismacolor pencils, Gamsol and some color combinations doing just that! Come play with color and learn some other fun techniques in this class.
Please bring your basic class kit along with an Exacto knife. Also, if you already have Gamsol and a Copic colorless blender marker you may want to bring them along. All items are available for purchase at the store. -------------------------------

incorporate cardboard into your projects/layouts. You will be making Tim
Holtz’s Rosettes on the Vagabond. This class is great for the beginner and for
the seasoned crafters.
